As a direct importer of organic Japanese matcha and green tea, ZEEKEI sources exclusively from renowned growing regions such as Kyoto (Uji), Miyazaki, Kagoshima, and Shizuoka. These teas come from award-winning producers and meet the highest sensory and ecological standards.

ZEEKEI is certified under the EU Organic Regulation (DE-ÖKO-006) and complies with IFS (International Featured Standards). All products are regularly tested for over 500 pesticide residues, heavy metals, MOSH/MOAH, PAHs, and radioactive contamination. Analyses are carried out by independent, accredited laboratories in Japan and Germany.

Our supply chain is fully transparent and traceable – from the tea bush to the end customer. All imports are transported under controlled refrigeration to ensure freshness and quality.

Within our operations, we continuously implement measures to reduce our ecological footprint – including logistics optimization, the transition to alternative drive technologies, and the promotion of carpooling. Employees and suppliers are regularly trained to raise awareness of environmental protection and sustainability.

ZEEKEI aims to ensure maximum product safety and regulatory compliance. A comprehensive food safety management system guarantees that only safe, high-quality products reach the market. All employees are aware of risks in the food sector and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of our product safety culture.

To prevent food fraud, all shipments are carefully inspected upon arrival and undergo additional sensory testing by an expert team. These measures ensure that customers consistently receive products of the highest quality and safety.
